Cybersecurity Lead:



This requirement is in anticipation of, and contingent upon, an award for conducting Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) support for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) of Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space (PEO M&S). The OCIO provides IT support to PEO Headquarters (HQ), 6 PM Offices, external Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine organizations, as well as, various foreign countries with cooperative agreements. Currently the OCIO supports approximately 2500 desktop users and 300 external users. Anticipated contract award date is 1 March 2021 with need for immediate presence to support transition activities.



Duties include:




  • Responsible for providing customer support in solving all phases of complex cyber security related technical issues.

  • Provide program management, systems engineering, software engineering, product assurance, CS, Test, and development documentation to support the cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of PEO MS systems.

  • Prepares and updates documentation on actions taken to correct and mitigate cyber security threats.

  • Supports development of technical solutions to support client’s requirements in solving moderately complex network, platform, and system security problems.

  • Complete an implementation of the System CS and CS-Enabled IT products IAW DoD CS requirements validated by the Security Control Assessor –Validator (SCA-V) and NETCOM.

  • Assists with the management and administration of enterprise security programs as well as incident response, cyber hunt activities, penetration testing, cyber system engineering, development, and monitoring.

  • Provide Cybersecurity for critical infrastructure in systems operations, data administration, and SW development

  • Support Information Security Auditor/Information Systems Security Manager support and execution

  • Conducts security control assessments with cyber security stakeholders, collects and reviews artifacts to compile a body of evidence for compliance with security controls, and documents assessment results in a security assessment report and risk assessment report.



Required:




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and/or Engineering discipline

  • 10+ years’ experience

  • IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP

  • Able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) prior to the start of work.

  • 5+ years’ Risk and Vulnerability and System Architecture experience.

  • Skills in either CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM or SANS.

  • Minimum one of the following certificates: Network+, Cisco, or Juniper



Desired:




  • Experience with DoD, Army and/or Aviation Missile Command (AMCOM) customers.

  • Experience with classified and unclassified networks.

  • Knowledge of Policies/Standards/Procedures and tool architecture, interoperability of threat tools, Kali Linux, and Vulnerability scanners



Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
