Senior Software Engineer, contract to hire candidates only.

PROJECT: We are building a system for client Tech Finance to track costs by department for hardware and software maintenance contracts, hardware and software purchases, and labor. This system will eliminate the need for tracking data in spreadsheets, will help ensure data quality by reducing manual input errors, help bring better visibility to costs by department, and streamline the quarterly budget forecasting process.

IDEAL BACKGROUND: A finance/accounting background would be a bonus, but otherwise the skills listed are the most important.

LOCATION: Telecommuter

TOP REQUIREMENTS:
- TypeScript/JavaScript skills, ideally using Angular 12+ and Node.js 16+ (5 years)
- Strong SQL skills (5 years)
- Must be willing to convert to fulltime employee at the end of the contract

"The Rainmakers" are focused on the development and support of financial-based applications used to support internal departments - 5 developers, 1 product owner, 1 project manager/Scrum master

This is a DevOps role requiring the development and on-going maintenance of systems built on Angular 14.x+, Node.js 16.x+, C#, SQL Server 2019+, & MySQL 8.x+.

What skills/attributes are a must have?
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript knowledge
- Experience with Angular 2.x + and Node.js 8.x+
- Strong SQL skills, working with relational database platforms such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
