Full Stack Engineers

In this role as a full stack engineer, you will be part of a growing engineering team that is fundamentally transforming Client's enterprise data platform strategy. DWaaS is a recently launched Snowflake-centered product focused on expediting outcome realization for our customers and minimizing data friction across the broader organization. This newly created team will be responsible for new capability development (eg, improving experience, enabling comprehensive self-service & analysis), while also automating and maintaining the day-to-day health and operations of the platform. We are looking for highly motivated and well-rounded engineers who "get it", who thrive in a dynamic environment, who don't acknowledge role boundaries, and who are always swarming to get things done.

*** What experience will set candidates apart from one another? Any Snowflake-related experiences will be a +1, whether admin, devops, eng, etc. Not required, but will be a gold star.

LOCATION: Prefer to vet candidates near/around major sites #1 Raleigh, #2 Salt Lake, maybe #3 Franklin, TN & #4 Minneapolis. Obviously, most/all are 'remote' right now, but would be good once some of this eases there's the option to go in. Would consider 100% remote on case-by-case if necessary.

TEAM STRUCTURE: This group will form the base of a newly formed team. In addition to these 5 spots, this will be a core team of roughly 10 - 4 other in devops roles, 1 arch lead, 1 dev lead, 1 prod mgr.

As part of this team, you will serve as a collaborative force, focused on empowering creativity and delivering innovative solutions to our customers and partners. Fundamental responsibilities will include:
Full-stack product development to ensure a redeeming experience for our growing user base, including CLI, API, and visualizations
Collaborating with various stakeholders (executive/product/data/design) to solve challenges and ensure organizational success
Performing root cause analysis on internal/external data lifecycle processes to answer specific business questions, discover user behavioral patterns, and identify opportunities for improvement
Ensuring working code meets the definition of done

Required Qualifications
4+ years experience as a full stack engineer, preferably within a modern data analytics environment incorporating various components of the referenced tech stack
2+ years experience in a DevOps/SRE capacity
1+ year(s) experience Snowflake engineering/administration (preferred)
Strong understanding of modern data architectural patterns and structures, including access, security, governance, etc
Strong understanding of the API lifecycle, including design, versioning, pagination, etc
Ability to translate business needs into engineering deliverables/tasks
Analytical thinker who thrives on swarming with their team and solving whatever challenge that may be presented

Fwks/Libs: Flask, React
DB: Snowflake +1; Postgres or additional experience with diverse db types
Dev Tools: Github, Jenkins, Airflow, DBT
Analytic Tools: Superset, Pandas, Plotly, Apache Echarts; Databricks, Synapse, etc
Cloud Stack: Azure, AWS, GCP
Infra Misc: Docker, K8s, Kafka
