Description: The client is looking for Business Intel Architect III. Will close to submissions on 4/1/25 at 4:00PM CST. Top Skills & Years of Experience: - Define data modeling standards and best practices, and ensure data integrity and consistency across all BI systems. (5 years) - Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. (3 years) - Design and develop enterprise-level BI architectures, including data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes. (5 years) Nice to have skills: - Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts. - Experience with BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Interview Process: Teams interview. Duration: 6/30/25, with an extension likely. Remote or On-site? Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. 100% remote within the State of Wisconsin. Schedule could vary depending on project needs, typically around 25 hours. Shifts will always be on weekdays, any day M-F, varying in length per day depending on project. The BI Architect III will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements, design robust data architectures, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable BI solutions. This position will assist our journey in developing a robust data architecture and our move towards data-driven decision making. Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Architect Ill to lead the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise-wide Bl solutions. This role will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making, and optimizing business performance. The Bl Architect Ill will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements, design robust data architectures, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable Bl solutions. Responsibilities: - Design and develop enterprise-level Bl architectures, including data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes.
- Lead the development and implementation of Bl solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
- Define data modeling standards and best practices, and ensure data integrity and consistency across all Bl systems.
- Evaluate and recommend Bl tools and technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize Bl performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data processing and retrieval. Develop and maintain Bl documentation, including data dictionaries, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Bl team members.
- Design and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Develop and implement data quality processes and metrics.
- Work with stakeholders to define and implement KPl's and dashboards.
- Perform data analysis and identify trends and patterns to support business decisionmaking.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, ETL processes, and OLAP technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Bl tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power Bl, Looker).
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and Bl solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in data modeling and architecture.
- Experience in performance tuning of Bl applications.
- Experience with data integration tools.
Pay range: $45 to $50 per hour on W2.
