Title: R&D Lab Associate
Location: San Francisco, CA Duration: 6 Months
Description: This position is opened to help with a large fast paced project requiring a lot of batching support and bench work for Hand Soaps. This is a new position that has been added for support. REQUIRED EDUCATION:
BS in Chemistry or related field (Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Food and Science, Etc.)
TOP 5 REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. 2+ years of experience working in a lab setting
2. General understanding of good lab practices
3. Exposure to lab instruments including viscometers, pH meters, pycnometers, others
4. Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
5. Excellent communication skills with cross functional teams
TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCIES:
Microsoft Office Suite KEY WORDS:
Personal Care, Home Cleaning, Food & Beverage, Lab, Formulation, Quality, Process Development, Chemistry, R&D
PREFFERED ATTRIBUTES:
Flexible, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Analytical Chemistry or other lab experience in Quality Control
Formulation Experience
SAP or other PLM software is a plus
HOURS: 30-40 hours per week Core Business Hours of 9:00 3:00 PM with flexibility
CONVERSION PLANNING: Conversion is likely depending on contractor performance.
