Duties: SCOPE: An Automation Test Developer designs, develops, and maintains automated and manual testing processes to ensure software quality, adapting testing approaches as needed by the project. This includes developing reusable automated tests using an existing framework, writing test scripts for functional, regression, API, and load testing, and executing manual tests when automation is not feasible. They also set up database connections to validate back-end data and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback. Collaboration with cross-functional agile teams, optimizing test coverage, and maintaining documentation are essential to deliver reliable and high-performing software. Required Skills, Option 1 or 2 below: Option 1: -5+ years of experience testing one or a combination of the following: -mobile applications -web applications -2+ years of experience creating automated tests that are integrated with the CI/CD pipeline -2+ years creating automated API tests Option 2: -5+ years testing RPA Automations built with tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, or WorkFusion Desired: -Experience testing RPA automation built with UiPath -Experience testing Mobile applications -Experience testing Web applications -Experience testing applications built using Azure or GCP Cloud technology Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Worker will need to provide their own equipment Leads the development of risk-based testing and advances the quality of the technology team. Coaches and advises technical and testing staff on best practices, tools and consistent processes. Leads the design and development of testing approaches, automation strategy, and capability improvement. Leads troubleshooting efforts and provides solutions to complex software validation problems
Skills: Knowledge: - Must have proven knowledge in computer programming language.
- Must have a thorough understanding in systems and data processing policies, practices and procedures.
- Must have a thorough understanding in systems analysis and design techniques.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the systems development life cycle.
- Understanding of project management concepts and techniques required.
Skills/Competencies: - Must have the ability to analyze complex applications and systems.
- Must be able to program complex systems requiring minimal interfaces.
- Must possess problem-solving skills to determine the programming effects on existing systems.
- Must have strong decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation.
- Must have written and oral communication skills to prepare and communicate programming plans and procedures as well as to interact with all levels within the company.
Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field is preferred. Experience: Six years of experience in programming and systems analysis. Project management experience is preferred.
